Pupil Parliament
Our new representative forming part of Pupil Parliament has been chosen.
Hippo Class have been hard at work creating persuasive posters in preparation for Polling Day. There were plenty of contributions from our class and it was hard to fit everyone on the ballot paper!
On Wednesday, we went to the Library to vote in booths with privacy screens so that our vote remained a secret. We all put a cross in a box next to the candidate we thought would represent our class the best. Ethan was our candidate of choice with the most votes - well done!
The process was as close as possible to the General/ Local election system to teach children about the important British value of democracy. Now the hard work begins and Pupil Parliament will fulfil their important responsibilities.
