A special visitor

We had a special visitor on Friday.

Chitra's dad came in to talk to us about India. He was able to answer lots of questions and gave us lots of information about India and where his family are from. Huge thank you to him. The children really enjoyed it.

We have been learning about position and direction in maths, anti-clockwise, clockwise, left, right, forwards, backwards, quarter /half turns. Some great work from the children and they grasped it really well.

In writing we have learnt about comparative conjunctions. We will be writing a comparative text about schools in England and a small village in India next week.

Science is all about animals and their habitats and this year we thought about what it meant to be living, dead or never alive. We continue to talk about the rainforests of India as well.

Have a great weekend.
