We have started this Geography focus topic by looking at where India is in the world and some interesting facts about the country. We will be looking at and comparing a village in India with Braintree. We will also be looking closely at the rainforest.

In writing we have been looking at persuasive speech and its features. Next week the children will write their own persuasive speech about saving the rainforest.

In maths the children have been looking at tally charts, block diagrams and pictograms and have answered questions.

We began our new science topic which is habitats. The children have explored some local habitats around the school. Have a look at the pictures to see them busy at work.
