Welcome back to the new school year! I hope everyone had an amazing summer holiday.

I can't believe a week has flown by already. The children have settled in really well and we are already in the swing of it. This term our topic is 'Crime and Punishment', where we will be looking at how crime and punishment have changed throughout history, focussing on the Anglo-Saxons, Tudors, Victorians and modern day. 

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays (both outdoors). We encourage the children to bring their kit in on the days they need it and then take it home with them to be washed before the next PE lesson (otherwise it begins to smell at this age). 

All children are expected to read at least 4 times a week. If your child has read, please sign their reading record as we monitor these daily and the children will be rewarded if they bring it in signed after reading. Homework will be set on a Friday and be expected back in before the following Thursday.
