We are now firmly into our second half-term of the year and the children are making excellent progress. We are still focusing on our topic of 'Ancient Civilisations' and are looking at the Ancient Mayan Civilisation in more detail. In maths, we are focusing on fractions, applying everything they have learnt so far to their new knowledge of fractions. 

Careers day last week was a huge success. Thank you to all the different adults that came in and gave up their time to inspire our class. The whole class were thoroughly engaged and excited, through discussions they have been inspired to investigate in more detail about the different professions they would like to go into later in life.
