Another fun and busy week in Elephant's class - we started our art cycle this week, beginning with moodboards to inspire our final pieces - clay fossils created with impressions:

We moved on to experimenting with clay - using different techniques for manipulating the clay, and then tools to make marks and impressions into the material:

Next week we move on to designing, making and evaluating.

In English this week, we looked at recounts - and what a good one looks like. We learnt about co-ordinating conjunctions - and, or and but, to join two sentences together, and will be using these in our recounts next week. We looked at nouns, verbs and adjectives too:
