Our first lesson of the block saw us create our moodboards, based on the work of Mondrian:

We then moved on to experimentation, using thick and thin brushes and primary colours:

To create designs, we used rulers to draw straight lines, creating squares and rectangles, before colouring in with pencils:

We fine tuned our drawing of lines during the make lesson, and used pirmary coloured paints to create our piece of art work:

When the paint had dried, we used black markers to create the darker outlines - what a group of artists I have in the crocodiles class!
