This week we have eased in gently with some holiday news writing and catching up on some reading. In maths we have continued with some subtraction

Carrying on with our science topic from last half term 'materials and their properties' we carried out a science experiment this afternoon looking at what happened to chocolate when we put it in different places with different temperatures. We talked about making it a fair test, making a prediction and writing a conclusion. We took the temperature of each place before placing the chocolate there.  One of the places we put the chocolate was in our mouths!!

Our topic this half-term is 'Playtime' which is a history focused topic about the Victorian era. We kick start next week with our trip to Braintree museum. Any questions regarding the trip then please ask.
