The Spring term is the turn of the Giraffes year3/4 to go swimming. The children walk to Braintree Swimming centre, straight after afternoon registration.  On entering the swimming centre, they change into their costumes and are then led to their swimming groups.  The majority of the group start off in the small pool and over the course of the term are continually assessed and progress through the different groups.  Swimming Instructors from the pool continue the teaching as the children move into the main pool, when they are ready to do so.

Swimming is such an important life skill as well as being great fun!
